Carapace quadrilateral, rather depressed. Eyestalks not stylophthalmous. Third maxillipeds of moderate size, not bulging; merus longer than ischium. Cheliped palm and fingers rather stout and not very short. No hairy edged pouches at the base of any pereiopod. (Türkay 1995)
