Ilyoplax serratus

Tooth on inner surface of carpus of male cheliped; male carpus rounded or rhomboidal. Orbits nearly transverse, eyes short and thick. An antero-lateral tooth distinctly separated from exorbital angle by a deep concavity; lateral border of carapace sometimes with feebly marked epibranchial angle. Inner part of the infraorbital ridge in the male armed with 4 conspicuous teeth. Meri of pereiopods 2-5 not remarkably stout and short. (Davie 1996)

Type locality: Xiamen, Fujian, China.
Range: China - Xiamen, Fujian (Shen, 1931), Xiamen and Liuwutien (Shen, 1940b), Fujian and Zhejiang (Dai & Yang, 1991).
