Dacryopilumnus rathbunae

Balss, 1932

Differs from Dacryopilumnus eremita in having the carapace somewhat broader and its dorsal surface covered with tomentum and granules, which are larger and fewer than in eremita. No median frontal groove and no depression on the surface between the orbit and the ventral edge of the front. The external maxillipeds are indistinctly granular, the merus is narrower than the ischium, the latter basally broadened and less markedly produced at its antero-internal angle, compared with that of eremita. The granules of wrist and palm are also larger and fewer, somewhat disposed irregularly. (T. Sakai, 1939: 525)
