Carapace square. Dorsal surface uneven, covered with small patches of setae, with a sharp postfrontal ridge. Side walls of carapace and pterygostomial region finely reticulated but only with hairy lines, lines of granules absent. Antero-lateral margins twice emarginated behind the exorbital angles. Front declivous. Basal antennal article entirely excluded from the orbit. Third maxillipeds: merus relatively short. Chelipeds subequal, covered with dense fur. Ambulatory legs unequal, tomentose.
