Clistocoeloma sinensis

Shen, 1933

External postfrontal lobes subdivided by a short longitudinal groove. Male cheliped with 11-12 transverse dactylar tubercles; inner surface with a sub-distal vertical line of 8-9 granules. Male abdomen with telson 1.11 times longer than broad at base, and 1.50 times longer than segment 6, which is 2.5 times broader at base than long. (Davie 1997)

Type locality: Small Harbour, Ningbo, Zhejiang, China, at low tidal mark.
Range: Japan - Nanki Shirahama, Niihama Lake, Wasana River, Kyushu, and Yanagawa (Rahayu & Takeda, 2000); China - Zhejiang (Shen, 1933), Kinmen County (Hsueh & Huang, 1996); Taiwan - Tan-shui (Sakai, 1939, Lin, 1949), Peimen (Fukui et al., 1989), estuary of Tachia River and Touchien estuary (Hsueh & Huang, 1996); low tidal mark.
