Frontal margin feebly convex and uniformly finely denticulate, hardly separated from the similarly denticulate supero-internal orbital margin by an indistinct antennal furrow. The two chelipeds conspicuously unequal and dissimilar, the smaller with the palm and fingers narrower and elongated. Ambulatory legs noticeably short and stout; merus of P4 with its length greater than twice the width. All male abdominal segments distinct, movable. Commensal crabs associated with corals.
