Carapace subquadrilateral and broadest at the external orbital angles. Front square-cut and a good deal narrower or of a fair breadth, the remainder of the whole fronto-orbital border is occupied by very wide orbits. Orbits long and narrow trenches to accommodate the elongate eyestalks. The base of the third segment of male abdomen broad enough to cover all the space between P5 (Sakai, 1976: 522, 537).
