Genus Macromedaeus

Ward, 1942

Antero-lateral margins having more than four teeth or lobes. Front not extending beyond the supraorbital angles. Antennular fossae broad. Basal article of the antennae short and squat. Third maxillipeds elongated, with the merus obviously as long as broad. Fingers of the larger cheliped with excavated extremities, rounded but not enlarged, not crossing when they are closed.
