The antero-lateral margins of the carapace have five teeth at most or are lobate. The antero-lateral margins of the carapace have teeth. The antero-lateral margins of the carapace have four teeth. The regions of the carapace are hardly projecting and separated by feeble furrows. 6L is entire. The antero-lateral teeth have slightly projecting apices forming an obtuse angle. The surface of the carapace and chelipeds is regularly and finely granular with feeble rows of transverse more compacted granules here and there. The first pleopod of the male has been figured by Forest & Guinot (1961, fig. 46). (Serène, 1984)
