The carapace slightly shorter than the breadth between the external orbital angles. Anterior frontal margin with a shallow but marked median concavity. The anterior border of cheliped with a subdistal triangular process. The gastric and cardiac region well delimited by a groove. The antero-lateral tooth well marked. (Sakai, 1976)
