Female: Carapace longer than broad, suboval, depressed. Dorsal surface almost flat, with faint indication of regions, entirely and uniformly covered with sparse short setae; anterior half with granules. Posterior margin with a fringe of thick setae. Front concave, finely spinulated. Eyestalks short and stout. Basal antennular article protruded far beyond antennae and eyestalks. Carapace almost flat, with faint indication of regions, entirely and uniformly covered with sparse short setae, which get longer near lateral borders, anterior half covered with granules which are smaller anteriorly; gastric region separated from the hepatic one by a shallow depression running obliquely towards the lateral border and separating the hepatic region from the branchial one, gastric region only indistinctly separated from cardio-intestinal one; front concave and finely spinulated; internal orbital angle rather blunt, bearing some fine spinules; external orbital angle sharper than internal one, but not reaching beyond it, hepatic margin of carapace hardly convex, the branchial one distinctly so; posterior margin with a fringe of long thick setae. Chelipeds homochelous, slender, upper border of palm a little shorter than twice its height, but longer than movable finger.
