Genus Oncinopus

de Haan, 1839

Carapace rounded triangular, depressed, without spines; rostrum obtusely bilobate. Eyes non-retractile. Basal antennal article very slender, free distally, not reaching anterior margin of eyestalk. Weakly developed interantennular septum, no interantennular spine. Last pair of pereiopods in subdorsal position, last two pairs subchelate. Abdomen distinctly seven-segmented in both sexes. First pleopod of male twisted about three times. (Türkay 1995)

Type species: Inachus (Oncinopus) aranea de Haan, 1839, by monotypy.
