Oncinopus angustifrons

Anterior part of carapace strongly tapered from the broad hepatic region to constriction behind rostral lobes; gastric region circular and very convex, its median posterior part faintly demarcated from the remaining greater part, cardiac region also isolated and rather distinctly bifid at the summit; rostral lobes weak, triangular, not dorso-ventrally flattened, separated by a broad hiatus, lobes divergent, interorbital region only concealing basal part of unretracted eyestalk. Chelipeds slender, merus fringed with a row of longish stout setae along both borders; palm not swollen and slightly shorter than the fingers. First pleopod of male strongly widened subapically; female gonopore on a weak elevation, opening more posteriorly than medially. (Türkay 1995)
