Alcock, 1898
The chelipeds are short and stout; their merus length is less than two thirds that of the carapace and the anterior margin is furnished with 6 to 8 short teeth, straight or curved. The carapace is with (in specimens exceeding 9 mm carapace length) or without an antero-lateral tooth between the external orbital angle and the epibranchial tooth. The frontal margin has distally rounded teeth, the laterals are clearly not in advance of the submedians. The dactylus of the fourth pereiopods is about three times longer than broad; the posterior margin is armed with 5-6 short teeth increasing in size on the distal half and has an indication of teeth on the proximal half.
