Carapace about 1.4 times as broad as long, covered with a soft pile, regions feebly defined, the convex surface of each region covered with a pavement of fine granules; front narrow, composed of three teeth of which the median one is longer than the laterals; antero-lateral borders with 9 teeth including the external orbital angle, all being rather acuminate and alternately large and small; just behind the last tooth follows a rudimentary tooth on either postero-lateral border. Carpus and palm of chelipeds armed with spinules mixed with soft hairs, the spinules on the outer face of palm arranged in longitudinal series. Dactyli of ambulatory legs very slender and longer than respective propodi. (Türkay 1995)
