Carapace not contricted behind the external orbital angles, which are prominent but not projecting beyond the tip of front, distance between the tips of the external orbital angles less than one third of extreme width of carapace; antero-lateral borders with one spine. Carpus of cheliped armed with two spines. Second and third pereiopods smooth and shiny, fourth pereiopod with flattened dactyl. (Türkay 1995)
