Genus Sesarmops

Carapace as long or longer than the breadth between exorbital angles. Dorsal surface sometimes flattened, with gastric and cardiac regions well delimited, and postfrontal lobes generally strongly salient. Side walls of carapace and pterygostomial region finely reticulated with intercrossing hairy lines. Antero-lateral tooth acute and separated by a clear sulcus from exorbital angles. Lateral margins clearly divergent backwards. Anterior frontal border with a deep median concavity. Basal antennal article included in the orbit. Ambulatory legs: P2 and P5 with the dactyli thin and nearly as long as propodi. (Guinot 1998)
