Genus Chlorodiella

Dorsal surface of the carapace usually smooth or finely granular, regions not or poorly defined. Combined breadth of front and supraorbital angles about equal to half that of the carapace. Basal article of the antennae without a prolonged antero-lateral external angle, thus orbital hiatus fully open. Antennal flagellum directed backwards freely into the orbital hiatus. (Guinot 1998)
