Antero-lateral margins of the carapace granular, divided into four rounded teeth, hardly projecting and included in the general convexity. Chelipeds granular; fingers either short, rounded at their extremities and slightly spooned, with brushes of setae on their internal margins, or elongated, rounded or pointed at their extremities; in all cases, both fingers dentate throughout their length. Ambulatory legs granular. (Guinot 1998)
