Genus Erimacrus

Benedict, 1892

Carapace oblong, its entire surface covered with short bristles; lateral borders with seven teeth; front bidentate, median sinus deep. A triangular projection of the basal antennal segment fills up the inner hiatus of the orbit. Chelipeds and ambulatory legs coarsely spinous. Chelipeds of both sides similar (homochelous), much shorter than subsequent ambulatory legs. All joints of these last ones robust and flattened. (Türkay 1995)
