Genus Dicranodromia

A. Milne Edwards, 1880

Carapace ovoid; front bidentate with deep, V-shaped median notch, frontal teeth concealing the folded antennules; lateral borders unarmed or with only small spinules. Chelipeds heavier in males than females, slightly shorter than following ambulatory legs. Second and third pereiopods short and rather thick, with dactyli shorter than propodi. Fourth and fifth pereiopods small, dorsally situated. Propodus of these last two legs without extrusions forming a fixed finger. (Türkay 1995)

Type species: Dicranodromia ovata A. Milne Edwards, 1880, by monotypy.
