Carapace relatively narrow, covered with short hairs, which do not conceal the regions, hepatic regions armed with a few spinules near their outer border. Outer face of palm of chelipeds only spinulated near upper and lower borders, otherwise smooth. Segments of male abdomen without marked pleural expansions; telson distinctly elongate, with short and sparse spinules. (Türkay 1995)
