Carapace vase-shaped, longer than broad, widest posterior to midlength, not deflected anteriorly, with broad shallow depression, mesogastric region slightly inflated; pterygostomial region fused to carapace. Third maxilliped without exopod, merus without distolateral projection. Anterior extension of sternite of first pereiopod smooth, sternite of fourth pereiopods with partial suture. Cutting edge of dactylus entire. Merus of second pereiopod without distomesial projection; coxa of third pereiopod with poorly developed and that of fourth pereiopod with well developed anterior lobe. (Türkay 1995)
