Carapace trapezoid-form, antero-lateral margin rounded; dorsal surface flat, protogastric region slightly convex; mesogastric region well defined; antero-lateral margin armed with five teeth. Exorbital tooth separated from 2nd tooth by an U-shaped concavity; 3rd tooth hook-like, 4-5th teeth oblique, 5th very small. Front narrow, forwarded with a median furrow, swelling basally, brimmed marginally, and thin distally. Lateral margin of front connected with supraorbital margin at a right angle, inner margin of supraorbit brimmed or not. Supraorbital margin with median V-shaped, and profound lateral concavities. Orbit small and round. Infraorbital margin distinctly or indistinctly with lateral concavity. Antennal basal article short and movable, small junction laterally, and 3rd article long and settled in among orbit. Buccal cavity extendend forwards and almost covered by third maxilliped. Endostome with a simple carina; this carina smooth anteriorly. Anterior margin of buccal cavity concave weakly but medially in some length, and each of which slightly swollen laterally. Chelipeds relatively short, unequal. Larger cheliped globular and robust; larger chela round and thick, dactylus sword-like and armed with teeth; smaller chela narrow, elongated, crossed distally one another, with triangular teeth, different from those of larger chela. P2-5 slender, especially meri and propodi, propodi compressed. Thoracic sternum little expanded, slightly reduced forwards; suture between 2/3 sternums continuous; suture between 3/4 shortly separated by ditch laterally; suture between 4/5 and 5/6 interruped, however nearly approached laterally; suture between 6/7 medially interrupted; suture between 7/8 confused. Medial suture present between 8/7 sternites. Female genital orifice sternal; male coxal; plp developed, as long as median suture between 8/7 sternite, bearing depression longitudinally. Sternite 8 concealed by abdomen. Male abdominal segment 7 large.
