Genus Moloha

Barnard, 1947

Medium sized, maximum carapace length inferior to 60mm. Carapace depressed, broadest near its middle, dorsal surface only sparsely hairy, provided with strong spines and spinules; pseudorostral spines moderately long, little longer than rostrum, with an accessory spinule; rostrum simple, directed obliquely downwards. No pigmented patches on palm of cheliped near base of dactylus. Ambulatory legs not flattened. Dactylus of fifth pereiopod curved, prehensile against the proximoventral corner of short propodus, which bears a number of spines. (Türkay 1995)

Type species: Latreillopsis alcock Stebbing, 1920, by monotypy.
