Dorsal surface smooth, naked, with subregions scarcely indicated but with postfrontal ridge sharp. Side walls of carapace and pterygostomial region with a very fine, close but rather confuse reticulation. Antero-lateral margins entire, without tooth behind the exorbital angles. Front declivous. Basal antennal article entirely excluded from the orbit. Ambulatory legs not very broad or compressed. (Guinot 1998)
