Baptozius vinosus

(H. Milne Edwards, 1834)

Carapace transversely oval. Surface shiny frosted, due to extreme close fine granulation, the granules becoming vesiculous and plainly visible to the naked eyed near the borders. Front with a fine double edge. Antero-lateral margins cur into four thin sharp-edged teeth, the first three angular, the fourth procurved. Outer surfaces of carpus and palm finely frosted. Ambulatory legs with the last articles hairy. (Guinot 1998)

Milne Edwards, 1873); Indonesia - Saparua (Balss, 1932), Sulawesi; Papua New Guinea - Buka (Sendler, 1923).
