Leptodius davaoensis

Ward, 1941

The antero-lateral margins of the carapace have 4 to 5 teeth behind the exorbital angle. The carapace and chelipeds have their surfaces granular or smooth, sometimes finely punctate. There are 4 teeth behind the exorbital angle. The carapace is less convex dorsally and the regions less projecting, they are smooth or finely granular, separate by broad, shallow furrows. The exorbital angle is acute and the antero-lateral teeth project. The median node of the front is slightly open. The first pleopod of the male has 5-6 stout, relatively short, subdistal spines and a very long rectangular apical lobe with a margin bearing about 20 tongue-shaped tubercles grading to 4-5 mushroom-shaped tubercles in the proximal part (cf. Forest & Guinot, 1961, fig. 59). Size: 13 x 21 mm. (Serène, 1984)
