Gaillardiellus lobipes

(Odhner, 1925)

Carapace width/length 9.0/3.0 mm. Dorsal surface of carapace marked with groove as in Gaillardiellus ruppelli, slightly weakly raised, 2M obscurely divided into two parts; with setae beset fewer than in G. ruppelli, and with granules weakly and sparsely distributed. Front slightly protruded anteriorly, strongly concave in the middle, and granulate, and posterior to protrusion frontal border present as a straight line. P1 fingers armed with a row of strong teeth, and beset with corn-like granules. P2-5 characteristic; meri finely denticulate on anterior margin and distally strongly flattened; P5 distally not strongly flattened; carpi and propodi with numerous tubercles and with three rows of flattened hooks beset with long, soft setae.
