Neoliomera intermedia

Odhner, 1925

Carapace transversely oval, the regions are moderately defined, i.e., 2M, 3M, 2L+3L, 4L+5L and 1R are well demarcated. The dorsal surface of carapace is covered with vesiculous granules, which become larger toward the anterior and antero-lateral borders but become smaller and microscopical toward the posterior surface; these granules bear several very short hairs mainly at anterior base, but the hairs become thicker and even become longer toward the anterior and antero-lateral borders.
The frontal lobes wanting the lateral lobule. The antero-lateral borders are divided into four rounded lobes. The chelipeds resemble those of Neoliomera insularis but the legs are not at all crested and their upper surface covered with very fine granules, the anterior and posterior borders being sparingly fringed with longish hairs.
