Front 4-lobed, sinuous, median frontal lobes fairly prominent narrower than laterals; 5 antero-lateral teeth; fourth antero-lateral tooth much smaller than fifth; posterior border of propodus of fifth leg without spines or denticles. (Davie 1999)

Type locality: off Nukalofa, Tongatabu, "Challenger" stn 172, 33 m.
