Physachaeus ctenurus

Carapace with a blunt protogastric tubercle, a short mesogastric spine and a longer cardiac spine with a low transverse tubercle on the posterior slope, between these prominent spines generally spinulated; lateral borders with a large rounded lobe behind the external orbital angle, broadly rounded behind this lobe; rostral lobes exceeding the distal margin of the basal antennal article in males, in females the apex is in level with the distal margin. Basal antennal article not completely smooth, granules or spines present. Third maxilliped with ischium longer than merus, antero-internal angle of ischium reaching to about middle of merus, both joints with prominent spinules. Fingers of chela markedly longer than palm.
