Ethusa minuta

Small species, carapace length up to 6.9 mm. Carapace longer than broad, its surface covered with granules; exorbital teeth slenderly triangular, antero-laterally directed, reaching to tip of outer frontal teeth; front quadridentate. Male adult chelipeds equal; fingers of large chelae with teeth. Second and third pereiopods naked. (Türkay 1995)

Type locality: between Ito and Hatsushima, Sagami Bay, Japan, 80 m.
Range: Japan - Sagami Bay and Shimoda (Sakai, 1937a), Sagami Bay (Sakai, 1965b), Izu Peninsula (Sakai, 1976a); East China Sea (Takeda & Miyake, 1970a, 1972, Chen, 1986c); Indonesia - Moluccas (Chen, 1993); Chesterfield Islands (Chen, 1993); New Caledonia (Chen, 1993); 30-200 m.
