Ptychognathus glaber

Stimpson, 1858

The carapace of this species is also perfectly flat and the epigastric ridges obsolete; the lateral border has only one obscure tooth behind the external orbital angle. No tuft of hairs at the base of the outer surface of the palm. (Sakai, 1939)

Type locality: Ogasawara-shoto, Japan.
Range: Japan - Ogasawara-shoto (Stimpson, 1858b, 1907, Sakai, 1939, 1976), Hayama (Sakai, 1955a, 1976), Yoron-jima (Muraoka, 1998), Okukubi River, Okinawa (Shokita et al., 1998); Indonesia - Flores (de Man, 1902a).
