Light coloured markings of carapace consisting of a compact spot near the external border of orbit, another one on cervical groove and a third one at frontal end of the H-groove. Terminal horny endpiece of male first pleopod much broader than long. (Türkay 1995)

Type locality: Indo-Pacific; the type locality Brazil by H. Milne Edwards is probably due to error. (Sakai, 1976)
