Carcinoplax longimanus

Big size. Carapace slightly more than two-thirds as long as broad. Surface naked. Two antero-lateral teeth, behind the exorbital tooth. All these teeth spiniform in the young and becoming blunt and obscure or even completely lacking in large adults. Front broad, truncate. Chelipeds varying in length with regard to sex and age, the chela becoming extremely elongated in large males; palm with a tubercular subdistal tooth on the inner surface; fingers without black colouration; inner margin of carpus with one tooth; lower border of merus without subdistal spinules. Ambulatory legs thin and elongate, with short few hairs; dactylus of P5 lanceolate. (Guinot 1998)
