Carapace not globular nor rounded in outline, rather narrow, its breadth/length ratio = 1.40. Dorsal surface not very convex. All regions not very markedly defined, separated by shallow furrows. 3M nearly undivided, with the odd branch hardly separated from the two posterior areolets. 2M divided, the inner branch elongate, the external branches broad, obscurely V-shaped. 5L and 6L entire. Carapace with granules covering entire surface except for grooves. A dense and thick tomentum of short setae, mixed with longer hairs. Antero-lateral margins regularly convex, armed with four produced granulate lobes behind the exorbital angle. Front extremely sinuate, appearing divided into four lobules. (Guinot 1998)
