Yokoya, 1933
Carapace about 1.4 times as broad as long, surface areolated, convex portions of each region covered with a patch of frosted granules; front well produced and trilobate, the lobes being in close contact with each other, nearly confluent and not at all dentate; antero-lateral borders cut into 12 broadish lobes, all being finely serrate and closely in contact with each other; postero-lateral borders with a tubercle behind last antero-lateral tooth. Outer surface of carpus and palm of chelipeds coarsely tuberculate. Ambulatory legs hairy on all joints. (Türkay 1995)
Type locality: south-west of Goto-retto, Japan, 152 m.
Range: Japan - Goto-retto (Yokoya, 1933), Kumano-nada (Sakai, 1939), Sagami Bay (Sakai, 1965b), Sagami Bay, Kii Nagashima, Kii Minabe, Tosa Bay and Goto-retto (Sakai, 1976a).
