Ethusa sexdentata

Large species, carapace length up to 24 mm. Carapace longer than broad, its surface smooth; exorbital teeth broadly triangular, anteriorly directed, reaching to middle of frontal teeth; front quadridentate. Male adult chelipeds unequal, fingers of large chelae without large teeth. Second and third pereiopods naked. (Türkay 1995)

Type locality: Kagoshima Bay, Japan.
Range: Andaman Sea (Alcock, 1896); Nicobar Islands; Japan - Kagoshima Bay (Stimpson, 1858c, 1907), off Inubo-zaki, Shimoda, Suruga Bay, Omae-zaki, Siono-misaki, Kii Strait, Tanabe, Muroto-misaki, Ashizuri-misaki, Bungo Strait, east of Kagoshima Prefecture, Koshiki-jima, Goto-retto and Tsushima (Yokoya, 1933), Shimoda (Sakai, 1935), Sagami Bay (Sakai, 1937a, 1965), Toyama (Miyake et al., 1962), from off Inubo-zaki to Kagoshima Bay (Sakai, 1976a), Ashizuri-misaki (Miyake, 1983); East China Sea (Chen, 1986c); Taiwan - Tachi, I-Lan county (Ng & Huang, 1997); South China Sea (Chen, 1986c); Philippines - north of Lubang Island, Balayan Bay, north off San Jose and Tayabas Bay (Chen, 1986), north of Leyte (Chen, 1993); Indonesia - Kepulauan Kai and Tanimbar (Chen, 1997); 30-550 m.
