Side walls of carapace and pterygostomial region finely reticulated with intercrossing hairy lines. Antero-lateral margins without tooth behind the exorbital angle. Basal antennal article included in the orbit. Chelipeds: outer surface of palm with 2-3 transverse pectinated crests, dactylus with longitudinal tubercles on dorsal surface. Ambulatory legs: P4 and P5 without denticulation or serration on posterior border. (Guinot 1998)
