Antero-lateral margins of carapace cut into six teeth. Posterior margin of carapace straight and forming a well marked angle of junction with the postero-lateral margins. The four medial frontal teeth dissimilar to the lateral frontal teeth and truncated. Lobule at the external angle of the basal antennal article joining the front and completely excluding the flagellum from the orbital hiatus. Chelipeds with a spine on posterior border of merus.
