Jacquinot & Lucas, 1853
Carapace longitudinally elliptical, broadened anteriorly; lateral borders armed with ten acuminate spines; rostrum bispinose. Flagellum of antennae much more than half the length of carapace. Orbits very long; eyes of normal shape, cornea swollen and reniform. Dactylus of last pair of ambulatory legs flattened and paddle-shaped. (Türkay 1995)
