Carapace longitudinally elliptical, exceedingly convex on anterior third of dorsal surface; lateral borders armed with ten tubercles. Rostrum bispinose. Flagellum of antennae much more than half the length of carapace. Orbits small and cornea not especially swollen. Dactyli of ambulatory legs styliform. (Türkay 1995)
