Carapace as long as broad. Rostrum projecting and with postocular constriction. Basal antennal article long, nearly but not completely reaching the inner canthus of orbital hiatus. Afferent branchial channels normal. Chelipeds: merus thigh-shaped, tapering distally. (Guinot 1998)
