Carapace and ambulatory legs armed with numerous spines of a regular arrangement. Carapace widened posteriorly. Dorsal surface without a median intestinal spine. Postero-lateral angles not armed with tooth or prolongation. Rostral spines very short. Orbit close above. No orbital hiatus but supraocular eave in closest contact with postocular cup, the suture line being perceptible. No intercalated spine. Basal antennal article narrow, with a long spine at antero-external angle. G1 slender and with long setae. (Guinot 1998)
