Carapace subcircular. Front prominent, hexagonal. Eyestalks movable, transversally oriented. Exopod of third maxilliped with a flagellum. Propodus and dactylus of the 2nd and 3rd pereiopod without any distinct rows of setae. Male and female abdomen with 7 segments. Female with uniramous vestigial 1st pleopod. (Türkay 1995)
