Carapace extremely globose and rounded, relatively narrow, its breadth about 1.30 times the length. Regions defined but separated by superficial furrows; grooves separating the antero-lateral lobes feebly prolonged onto the ventral face. 3M tripartite with the odd median branch narrow and elongated. 2M almost quadripartite. Tomentum of short plumose setae. Antero-lateral margins regularly convex, with four produced granulate lobes projecting behind the exorbital angle and separated by broad and deep fissures. Front bilobate, the free margin of each lobe being not deeply sinuate. Outer surface of palm entirely covered by thick setae, finger tips excepted, smooth on the inferior half and with some sparse granules on the other half; fingers chisel-shaped and crossing at the extremities.
