Front 2-lobed; tips of chelipeds pointed, not spoon-shaped; basal antennal joint granular or tubercular; 5 or only 4 antero-lateral teeth; mesobranchial and lateral mesobranchial ridges present; male first pleopod with tip neither flared nor recurved, with 4 to 6 stout protruding bristles on one side of the tip only. Type locality: Iles Glorieuses, Madagascar, intertidal.
Range: Tanzania; Madagascar - Glorieuses (Crosnier, 1962); Taiwan - Ping-tung Province (Huang & Yu, 1997); Marianas; Marshall Islands - Eniwetok Atoll; Hawaii; Tuamotu; Society Islands; intertidal.
