Pariphiculus agariciferus

Ihle, 1918

The general surface of the body and appendages of this species is covered with mushroom-like granules and also sharp granules. The carapace is orbicular and its regions indistinct, the intestinal region alone is convex and circumferenced by grooves, while the cardiac region is laterally marked by a groove.
There are numerous spines, which are covered with mushroom-like granules, on and around the margins of the carapace. The front is less produced and is divided into two obtuse lobes which are also covered with granules. It is apparently a small species, measurements given by the original author being 9 4/1 long and 9 mm wide.
No specimen of this species is comprised in our collections. (Sakai, 1937)
