Carapace about 1.2 times as wide as long, its surface with closely set tubercles, of which the larger ones are arranged in diagonal rows from front to lateral spines; front with acute lateral teeth slightly overreaching triangular rostrum; lateral spine of carapace slender, about 0.07 times carapace width; posterior margin with three triangular and acute teeth. Upper margin of cheliped palm with six teeth; external face with closely spaced granules and an row of three subequal, small and acuminate teeth along inferior border. Second to fifth pereiopods with meri granulated and upper borders of carpi with rows of spines, otherwise nearly smooth. (Türkay 1995)
